BAPE Store – Monkey Business
Hardly a fortnight passes without something awesome landing at the Bape Store. With the festive season just around the corner, you can trust Japanese street wear king, Bathing Ape (Bape) to bring in highly covetable merchandise that will be at the very top of many a Christmas wish list. This week, doll up your iPhone with a new skin and while you are at it, buy yourself some new clothes and shoes – you will certainly be needing them once the invites for year end parties start hitting you in full force.
Bape iPhone Camo Colour Skins
Considering that most iPhone users do not let their wonder gadgets out of sight for long, it makes sense that they should look as attractive as possible. There are a thousand and one ways to keep your iPhone looking fabulous (and scratch-free), but those in the know will be going for these fashion forward Camouflage Colour skins from Bape (SGD69 each), simply because they are a cult must-have. Available for both iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, they come in the original camouflage print (i.e. green and brown), frosty monochromes and feisty pinks.

BapeCheck Series
Checks are one of those classic wardrobe staples that never quite go out of style. Building on a foundation of colourful plaids, Bape has cranked up the fun factor by clashing colours and patterns. With as many as four different prints in a single shirt, these attention-grabbing pieces are certainly not for the shy wallflower. Other than the brand’s signature round-shouldered shirts, the series also boasts graphic t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts (with coloured check lining), canvas tote bags, caps, high-top sneakers and even boxer shorts.

Bape x George Cox Wallaby
For Autumn/Winter 2010, Bape and George Cox collaborate once more (after the Tassle Loafer) to present the Wallaby shoes (SGD449), which have the subtle good looks of great weekend footwear. This rugged low-top comes with a soft, beige suede upper, leather mid-sole and a white outer sole. With the Bapesta logo embossed at the heels of the shoes, it is unmistakably Bape.
